PANIPAT The film is based on the third battle of Panipat which set in 1761 took place on the 14 of January in 1761 between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali.when the Maratha Empire had reached its Golden Age and Have The Influence All Over on Hindostan no-one to challenge them until an outsider set his eyes on the throne of Hindostan. That's when Sadashiv Rao the Commander-in-Chief of the Maratha army led a northern force in order to repel the invading forces of Ahmad Shah Abdali the emperor of Afghanistan. This War is the legend that led to the Third Battle of Panipat.

#Best movie of 2019
What a movie,Sanjay dutt Is the main hero of this movie,Arjun Kapoor done his role good,kriti sanon oh my God she look stunning in this movie, some scenes are like we are seen it many movie of slb,fight scenes in climax will make you stunned,1st half is good but 2nd half is very very good,the film is very lengthy if this film would be 30 minutes shorter then it would be good,I Will give this movie 9/10.

#Arjun Kapoor dosen't suck in this
Don't go to the movie expecting bahubali because this movie is not bahubali . But nevertheless this was very informative movie. Ashutosh gowariker did good job. In acting Sanjay dutt stole the whole show. They tried to make us sympathetic towards antognist which I thought was was cheap trick but nevertheless it was good historical movies

Nice movie. Gowarikar can make good war movies. I am pleasantly surprised, trailer was not so good but movie is really good.

It is a good watch. Movie is about lengthy but keeps you captivated. Arjun should have worked on his accent. Ranveer had done much fabulous job. Movie is nevertheless a good movie and an entertainer.

A grossly inaccurate version of history which over glorified the Marathas and villainize's the Muslims.

The over acting by the actors to desperately attempt to make an impact on the audience only adds insult to injury.

#Very difficult to watch the first half.
Went to movie, thinking Arjun would be biggest disappointment. But disappointment was the direction and lack of story telling. Focus was on showing big canvases rather than building character. Stay for the fight at end, might enjoy it. Kriti was good. Sanjay Dutt disappointments.

#Marathas are Heroes, Conqueror and lions of this Nation..
Some Afghani and Muslims are trying to show how great they are and they are giving low ratings to this movie.. But in reality you know how Abdali won this battle by help of Nawab of Awadh, Nawab of Rohillas and Afghans of Doab region.. All traitors from India side..And after within 10 years Mahatji shinde and Maratha Empire crushed them.. Betrayal by Indian Kings was the main reason of this defeat..

#Interesting; never got bored
Well shot, good acting by all actors, must watch. Watch it for the good intense story line and the sets. 2-3 songs in the movie which sort of spoiled it for me but that's Bollywood for you. Arjun is good, so is Sanjay Dutt and Nawab Shah. Running time is long but didn't feel like that way at all.

#Ok, but not so grand like Jodhaa Akbar
The movie is ok and focuses very well on story. The songs were not interesting at all. It is a one time watch bit not something mind blowing. Sanjay Dutt plays the Afghan emperors role way better than Arjun Kapoor plays Sada Shiv Rao(Maratha). If you are free go watch this movie otherwise not recommended.

#Great Historical Drama
The movie is great. People actually does not know about history. I even did not know. But if you do not skip it, you will fall in love with drama plus extra ordinary visuals plus detailing. Yes, people criticize it for Arjun. But this time director make it happen to act of Arjun. But other actor specially Kriti and Sanjay did fabulous.
